What is Hypnosis?

Contrary to popular belief, hypnosis is not a state of deep sleep: it feels like being in a trance-like state similar to daydreaming.  All hypnosis is self-hypnosis where you will feel safe, aware and in control.

Hypnotherapy aims to re-programme patterns of behaviour within the mind, enabling irrational fears, phobias, negative thoughts and suppressed emotions to be overcome.

Hypnotherapy uses hypnosis and NLP as powerful tools to help clients release negative habits and replace them with positive change.

My Aim

  • To positively and powerfully assist you to achieve change in your life

  • To actively support your wellbeing of mind and body

  • I help you continue to help yourself, by teaching self-hypnosis techniques to use at home or work

I create a safe, supportive, and nurturing space for clients. Are you motivated to change? If you answered yes, then hypnotherapy can be the right therapy for you.

If you want to feel more confident, you usually only need one session. If your goal is to lose weight, then more sessions will be needed depending on what feels right for you.

How can Hypnotherapy help you?

  • Release anxiety and stress

  • Increase your confidence

  • Weight control

  • Reduce anxiety

  • Release fears and phobias

  • Relieve insomnia

  • Reduce symptoms of IBS

  • Stop smoking

  • Manage chronic pain

What to expect

Before we meet, I offer a free telephone consultation. The first session will commence by me asking you deeper questions so that I have a full understanding of problem issues impacting on your life. We will explore this together. A personalised treatment plan will then be agreed with you and continually reviewed.

During the process of hypnosis some clients gradually experience slowly drifting into a trance-like state; others will relax deeply very quickly. Breathing becomes slower and deeper, the pulse rate drops and the metabolic rate falls.

During hypnosis, you will feel safe, in control and aware; you can choose to come out of the hypnotic state at any point.

Immediately after hypnosis, while some clients report that they feel lighter and clearer in their thoughts, others notice that they feel heavy and some feel floaty. Clients often report feeling wonderfully relaxed and refreshed, experiencing a peaceful inner calm. They describe having a deeper sense of self-awareness and feelings of connectedness. They are often able to find the answers within themselves as they bubble up to the surface.

All I need to say about this very talented lady is that she has given me the best gift anyone can give you, she’s given me my life again!
